cleanCART has left the App Store. Benson does the job now.
cleanCART kept coupon extensions from applying codes at checkout while customers could still use the codes they'd been given. Its listing now says it isn't available. Benson covers the same job on Shopify today, and proves it with a holdout.

Where Benson is different.
Built for today's Shopify checkout
Shopify retired checkout.liquid, so scripts that once ran on checkout pages can't any more. Benson works through a Shopify discount function: in coupon-extension sessions only the codes you allowlist apply, on every Shopify plan.
A holdout, not a running total
Counting every code an app stopped and calling it revenue assumes each of those shoppers would have paid full price anyway. Benson leaves a share of extension sessions alone and compares orders, margin and conversion between the two groups, so the number you report is the difference Benson made.
Free to find out first
On the Free plan Benson shows which extensions reach your store, how often, and what those sessions order, before you pay anything. Move to Stop when the numbers say it's worth it.
Moving from cleanCART.
- 1
Install Benson from the App Store
Start on the Free plan. There's no separate account: Shopify signs you in, and paid plans are billed through Shopify.
- 2
Set your allowlist
Add the codes you hand out on purpose, such as email, influencer and support codes. In extension sessions, other codes won't apply.
- 3
Keep a holdout
Leave a share of extension sessions untouched and read the difference after a week or two.
