What your agent can do

Ask in your own words.

  • Set up

    From domain to live

Add your store, get the snippet, check it's live and apply the recommended setup.

  • Read

    Ask about your numbers

Extensions and what they cost, orders, insights, offers and AI agent traffic.

  • Change

    Make the everyday changes

Blocker mode and rules, checkout policy, offers and invitations. Each one asks first.

Try asking

  • Set up Benson on mystore.com and tell me when it's live.
  • Which extensions cost me the most last month?
  • Block Honey's pop-ups on product pages, with a holdout.
  • Is anything taking affiliate credit for my orders?
  • What changed this week, and what should I do about it?
  • Invite [email protected] as an admin.

Every change asks first

Nothing changes until you say yes.

  1. PreviewYour agent shows what would change, where, and for whom.
  2. You say yesOr no. Without a yes, nothing happens.
  3. DoneThe change is made once and logged as made through your agent.
Example conversationBenson connected
  1. You: Switch the blocker on mystore.com to block mode.

  2. set_blocker_mode→ needs confirmation
  3. Agent: Nothing has changed yet. On mystore.com the blocker would go from Observe to Block. Pop-ups your rules match would be hidden on your storefront, except for shoppers in the holdout. Shall I go ahead?
  4. You: Yes, go ahead.

  5. set_blocker_mode→ confirmed
  6. Agent: Done. The blocker on mystore.com is in Block mode. Your audit log shows the change, made via Claude.

Never through an agent

These stay in the dashboard, behind its own confirmations.

  • Billing: choosing a plan, checkout, cancelling
  • Deleting a store, purging its data, or deleting the organization
  • Rotating site keys, policy keys or edge secrets
  • Removing members, changing roles or transferring ownership
  • Connecting integrations that need a secret (email platforms, Slack)
  • Exporting all of the organization's data
Permissions and safety

It can't do more than you can.

  • Standard sign-in

Add the URL and sign in to Benson in your browser. There are no keys to paste.

  • One organization per connection

You pick it when you connect. Agencies connect once for each client.

  • Read-only if you like

Turn off “Make changes, after you confirm each one” when you connect, and your agent can only read.

  • Your role still applies

Members can only read. Every call goes through the same checks as the dashboard.

  • See it, stop it

Settings → AI agents lists each connection and its recent calls. Disconnect takes effect on its next call.

  • Shopper text stays data

Text shoppers can write, like UTM tags and codes, is marked untrusted, and your agent is told to treat it as data.
