The job
Benson is TypeScript all the way through: Next.js apps, a Node API, Postgres, and a lightweight script that runs on merchants' storefronts and spots coupon extensions in the wild.
You'll ship across all of it, from the dashboard to detection, and you'll talk to the merchants who use what you build. Small team, short loops, real ownership.
Your first 90 days
- First 30 daysShip something in your first week and learn the codebase end to end.
- By day 60Owning a part of the product and shipping to it every week.
- By day 90Leading a feature from the first merchant conversation to release.
What you'll actually do
- 01Ship features end to end, from the API to the UI.
- 02Make detection sharper and the storefront script lighter.
- 03Sit in on support and sales calls to hear problems first hand.
- 04Keep things fast, tested and easy to change.
Is this you?
You'll fit right in if
- Several years building production TypeScript apps.
- You care about how things feel for the person using them.
- You like owning a problem from start to finish.
- You know the affiliate world (networks, coupon and cashback extensions, partner programmes), or you're confident you can learn it fast.
- You're a generalist, and you're happy when the job changes shape.
Probably not for you if
- You'd prefer a narrow, well-defined ticket queue.
- You want a clearly defined role that stays the same all year.
What you get
- Equity.
- 25 days off, plus your local public holidays.
- A day in London every month with the whole team, travel paid.
- The laptop and kit you want.
Work from home, a coworking space or wherever you do your best work, as long as you're somewhere between GMT and CET+1. Once a month we all get together in London, and we pay for the trip.
